North American libraries in the time of Post-COVID: reopening and return (Regional workshop presented by IAML-US and CAML)
28 July 2021 (Wednesday)
17:00-18:30 UTC
Facilitators: Mallory Sajewski (Interlochen Center for the Arts), Liza Vick (University of Pennsylvania)
As a follow-up to last year’s IAML-US forum that dealt with the early days of the COVID crisis (closings, transitions), this workshop is open to all IAML attendees with a focus on North American libraries’ post-COVID reopening plans and handling of this new transition period. This will be a participatory forum with discussion prompts and breakout rooms. Differences or similarities among Canadian, Mexican, and U.S. libraries will be instructive and thought provoking.
