Dear CAML Members,

The CAML Board is pleased to announce that Canada has an opportunity to submit an application to host the 2027 IAML Congress. In order to do so, we are requesting expressions of interest from any CAML member, on behalf of their institution. This need only be a sentence indicating an interest in submitting a proposal at a later date. Expressions of interest will not oblige anyone to a further commitment, and can be sent to Lucinda Johnston (lucinda.johnston at ualberta.ca<mailto:lucinda.johnston at ualberta.ca>) by July 31. Subsequent proposals will be requested, with full details, after we submit our tentative application to IAML on August 5. Canada has hosted IAML congresses in 1975 (Montreal), 1994 (Ottawa), and most recently, 2012 (Montreal). We look forward to hearing from our community! Please send any questions you have to Lucinda.

Le Conseil d’administration de l’ACBM est heureux d’annoncer que le Canada a l’occasion de présenter une demande pour accueillir le Congrès de l’AIBM en 2027. Pour ce faire, nous demandons à tout membre de l’ACBM de nous faire part de son intérêt, au nom de son institution. Il suffit d’une phrase indiquant un intérêt à soumettre une proposition à une date ultérieure. Les manifestations d’intérêt n’obligeront personne à s’engager davantage et peuvent être envoyées à Lucinda Johnston (lucinda.johnston at ualberta.ca<mailto:lucinda.johnston at ualberta.ca>) d’ici le 31 juillet. Des propositions subséquentes seront demandées, avec tous les détails, après que nous aurons présenté notre demande préliminaire à l’AIBM le 5 août. Le Canada a accueilli les congrès de l’AIBM en 1975 (Montréal), 1994 (Ottawa) et, plus récemment, 2012 (Montréal). Nous avons hâte d’entendre les commentaires de notre communauté!
